Sardines have even more nutrients than the admired, glorified fish we call salmon (I think, not a dietician though so not totally sure lol)!

*I might have heard they are a good source of calcium if you cannot have dairy, and are trying to stay away from non dairy milk because of liquid calories, or if you are a pescatarian and avoiding land-animal products too…some pescatarians avoid land-animal products including dairy, but some eat dairy.
