Finding it really tough to hit my daily sodium, fat and sugar targets, despite cutting out processed food, snacks, refined sugar/wheat, alcohol etc… my nutrition has never been better and yes it’s ‘good fat’ but what an wake up this is to the base line fat, sugar and sodium content even in whole foods. Not one hit of added sugar or salt needed to exceed targets!

Are the targets perhaps a bit too aggressive? 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have trouble with fats, and saturated fats. I'm struggling with my cholesterol, but it's hard to get below targets. I eat a lot of vegetables, lean proteins, and I exercise everyday on top of a active lifestyle. I know part of it is Salad dressings. Dry salad is not pleasant. What is the alternative?

Not sure but I’d welcome any insight - for my 1500cal daily target, the nutrient values are set to the following: fat 50g, sugar 24g, sodium 2300mg…

Same I find salads are life! But I add nuts/seeds (<1/4 cup) and olive oil (2tsp ish) then just fresh herbs, vinegar or lemon juice to bring the veggies to life! Good luck and please share if you have a lower fat dressing alternative!
