Hi All,

i have a question and i hope someone can help me....

So yesterday morning i weighed myself and i was 74 - picked up 500g.

Last night at my spinning class i weighed myself again (as it was weigh-in day) and i was 73.9 - lost 100g.

This morning i weighed myself once again and today I'm standing at 73.2kg - lost 700g.

Can this be possible???? I will weigh myself tomorrow morning again. I'm not someone who like to weigh everyday, or even at all for that matter, but i would like to know.

Any feedback?

What I have learnt is that you must try weigh yourself the same time of the day (mornings are better) and on the same scale. If you use different scales and different times your weight wont be as accurate.

Hi Kimmy. I always weigh myself on the same scale yes. But had ti weigh-in last night at the spinning class as i didn't go yesterday morning. But still... weighed myself yesterday morning at home and this morning and there is a 800g difference. So want to know if that happens, because it never happened to me before.

Did you weigh yourself before or after spinning. If after, it could be from water loss. I lose 1.5kg on the scale after spinning class. If before, then you ate very light for the day. I find that depending on the food I eat, if I eat chicken, I sometimes weigh more on the scale, than when I eat fish. I weigh myself once a week on the same scale.

Weight can fluctuate daily especially if you weigh after exercise. Personally I found that weighing myself once a week on the same day early in the morning about 30 minutes after waking up and after using the loo but before consuming anything is best for me. It keeps a consistent and more accurate record of my weight. I do weigh everyday for curiosity but only record it on Thursday Mornings.
