Diario di Firelair, 03 ott 11

Adhering to something I read about not eating 3hrs before bed. So far I'm doing great with it! The cravings come, but I guess I'm eating just enough through the day to keep the cravings at bay!

Drank 4.5 bottles of water (16.9 fl. oz. each) while trying to make myself drink "8 glasses of water"...and forgot that 8 fl. oz. counts as "a glass"...so yeah...I'm well hydrated! (And thankful I didn't have to stomach 3.5 more bottles of water, lol!)

Looking forward to working out at the YMCA tomorrow before class! I usually don't get a chance to get to the gym on Mondays because it's the only day I kinda have off during the week (before my Humanities class)...hoping to get a FEW more days added to my weekly workout routine, rather than JUST Tuesday and Thursdays. Read somewhere that "if you let 72hrs go by without working those muscles, all your efforts were made in vain" and essentially reset your progress! I don't know how true that is...but I don't like the idea of restarting when I'm making progress! :O

Eating early really does help and at night I try to eat yogurt or drink some hot tea before going for the snacks. Never heard of the '72hrs' thing. That's something to think about.

I'll have to pick up some yogurt and green tea next time I'm in the store to see if it helps curb my cravings (although I haven't had any problems since I re-started documenting everything at the beginning of this month!). I think a gym teacher in highschool stressed it, or perhaps it was my Cross-Country teacher back then (+10 yrs ago), but when I Google'd it, I couldn't find anything in black-and-white. Guess it doesn't hurt to trick myself and give excuses TO workout, hehe! ;P

Seems everyone always gets GREEK yogurt, when I see people mentioning it on the forums...do you know if there is a specific reason for it? Just curious. =)
