A happy Tuesday to our FatSecret community! Today, my Cocker, Buddy, is having surgery to remove tumors from around his head. We must be crazy to do this for a dog in his last couple of years of life. We have no children, so these are them. My tip today will be of interest. Buddy is back home and fine. The doctor says he is one very tough dog. Took four tumors off of him, one large. His heart is strong. He had to extract two teeth. Now the bill is around $1200. YIKES!

The problem with articles like these is that you never met the person, nor watched their journey unfold. People can say what they want to say & write what they want to write, but their is no denying a truth that unfolds before your eyes. Of course she was irritable and sluggish if she was in low Carb limbo... meaning too many carbs to burn fat, but not enough for energy.
Glad buddy is doing well! ☺

You are absolutely correct, you have to be suspect of every tip I post, a lot of them are written to entice the reader. I have heard pluses and minuses about every food, and diet.

Me too, Warren, but I've never experienced anything like LCHF/KETO. Losing weight without hunger, not having my mouth water every time I see sweets, and not wanting to bite everyone's heads off. Plus, read my profile. To each's own, but keto saved my life. LOL @ Phil!

Hi Warren. I hope all went well for your Cocker, Buddy. I don' think you're crazy, they are family members. I have a black cat, also named Buddy. Always there when I need company. Always greets me at the door. Always comforts me when I'm sick. AND helps me stick to my diet cause he likes begging for a piece of my chicken so I eat less calories and lose weight. LOL. Always there for me.

I read through her facebook newsfeed/timeline and judging by her posts she's not a very nice person. She lost the weight back in 2013/2014, makes you wonder why they're just now running an article on her. At any rate, that was an amusing waste of twenty minutes. lolz And she's definitely pissy. lmao
