If you go to the top of the page. You will see a bar of pale blue boxes. go to the one with the dinner plate and click. That will get you to the page for recording your daily food intake. At the bottom of the page there's a pie chart that will show your daily protein, fats and carbohydrates. Below that in blue is a note about RDI; click on that. Fill out the calculator to discover your recommended daily intake. This will give you a number to maintain your current weight. But if you want to lose weight, you'll have to reset the RDI to at least 500 cal per day less. Then you can tinker with it as you see your rate of weight loss. There are many diets to chose from; do some research in the diets section, in books or online; or read the daily blogging here to help yourself pick a diet. Then in the right hand section of the page find the section that says bio and write yourself a bio and set your goals. it will automatically set up a weight chart that you can log into to record your weight. Spend some time exploring the site; there's a lot of cool stuff here and a great community of dieters. That's enough to get started. Keep asking question!
