Diario di calannapy, 11 gen 12

Ok...obviously 1000 calories a day is way too low. So I increased and have kept my daily allowance pretty well. I run and exercise regularly. So why does my weigh go from 167 to 170 back and forth constantly? Any ideas. I can't seem to get away from those two numbers!

I'm right there with you - I fluctuate from about 168-171! Pretty annoying, I just want to break down below them, but I've only been fluctuating there for a few weeks, and I'm confident that I will get past this soon.. I just took a quick peek at your Exercise calendar and I would suggest that you start mixing up your exercise routine. Even if you are exercising "regularly," your body gets used to doing the same things over and over, so throw in some cycling or lap swimming or a group exercise class here and there to try to "shock" your body out of its routine. Or instead of just running at 6mph for 15 minutes, try doing some interval training on the treadmill - mix in some short periods of high intensity - try looking up HIIT interval training. And yes, 1000 calories is way too low (according to me) - but it looks like your RDI is now set to 2200 - maybe you want to shoot for somewhere like 1600? Just make sure your body has enough 'fuel' (and the right kind of it)..

Thanks...I'll check out the interval training! Yeah, I don't know how to change the setting on this site for my RDI...but I am aiming for 1650 calories a day.

1650 sounds much better than 1000! You can change your RDI from your food diary I think, near the bottom where you enter foods there is the charts showing how much % of RDI you have eaten that day I think there is a link with RDI, either change or calculate RDI? It can also be found if you go to the my fat secret page link top left when you come in to the site (below where it say community) and then my diet I think and then you can change RDI from there If I remember correctly, if you still cant find it message me and I will look it up and describe it more clearly.

Thanks! I think I was successful in changing my RDI. It was exactly where you said it would be :)
