I'm a busy gal so I rarely watch TV. In fact, in the past 5 years have watched TV about 10 hours total. So yesterday while at my daughter's house the TV was on. I'm watching and couldn't believe what i was seeing!
EVERYTHING was circling around eating HIGH FAT, empty non-nutritious calorie laden junk foods, soda, constant fast food ads one after another...on and on.
I sat there and thought oh my God, thud is what my 10 yr. old granddaughter is watching all summer. I thought, "We, Americans are under siege. We are under attack. These food companies/ producers/manufacturers are slowly killing us and our children."
Sitting there seeing what seemed like non stop commercials enticing us to over eat and eat foods that really look great but we know how unhealthy most of them are.
I was salivating! I wanted every bit of the foods being advertised!
So scary. Also noticed these commercials seemed to be timed to lunch and dinner hours. Wow, no wonder America appears to be losing the fight with the battle of the bulge! God help us all.

Let's get smart and see this for what it really is: advertisers, companies and food companies making a profit at our expense and health. We've simply got to wise up and not let this happen to us.

We have very powerful weapons on our side:
Ability To Say NO! and Ability To Close Our Wallets!!!
Good Luck To All
