OMG, y'all ... the egg fast WORKS. I've been oscillating between the same three pounds since the beginning of July, and was beginning to feel a little desperate. I read about the egg fast here and on some keto blogs I follow and figured it was worth a try. Today, the needle on the scale finally budged downward a whole 1.6 pounds. I'm on the second day of the fast and I feel fine, although I'm getting a little tired of the heavy amounts of fat (still love eggs, thank goodness). I'm also taking a magnesium/potassium supplement and drinking lots of water. I hope to drop another two pounds before I stop - I don't intend to do this more than three days - but even if I don't, at least I broke through. Yay!
