Those that make zoodles... what do you use to make them. Was looking into making these so that I'll at least be able to have something similar to spaghetti or Alfredo.

i sautee with capers, parm, a little lemon juice, evo and garlic. add some mushrooms and bell pepper also

I have the Paderno one that sells on Amazon. It's a horizontal-feed one. But I also have a vertical-feed one that I haven't tried yet. I picked it up at a thrift store for a dollar, and had been looking at them. They seem to make more sense to me. Easier than pushing the food along horizontally, you can press down, plus you get gravity to help.

Ok I'll have to check that one out on amazon. I'll have to also make them that way too. Love finding hearing new recipes.

You can also just use a potato peeler and take off strips.

I bought one from Pampered Chef. I don't recommend it if you have large veggies or soft (think zucchini) though as it just tends to spin into the veggie rather than applying enough force to cut the spirals. I have a small hand held spiralizer too which works better but if the diameter is too big, it won't work either.

i have a little tool. It is so good. I made it with a meaty marinara my family loved it. They didn't event miss the noodles.

I use Spiralizer 5-Blade Vegetable Slicer for $29 from Amazon but, I am a gadget guy - the more the better. It works very well and is super simple. However, you can cut your own by hand or use a simpler device. There are a variety of videos - just search on making zoodles. The key is how long to cook them and what spices/oils to use.

I got mine at the drugstore in the "as seen on tv" aisle. it looks like a big version of a pencil sharpener and works great!

My sister bought a 'Veggetti' spiralizer at Safeway, it makes pretty good noodles out of squash or carrots

My 5-blade 'Italian spiralizer' from Amazon rests peacefully in a bottom cabinet after one use. Don't spend $29.99 you don't have. Check CVS or Walgreens in the "as seen on TV" aisle. It'll do the trick and you'll get your fix. Be happy 😊.

I have the kitchenaid attachment and I love making cucumber "noodles" with shrimp.

I don't have any attachment or dedicated tool, so I make fettuccini zoodles with my peeler. It's a ceramic one, so it's really sharp and makes it pretty fast. My sister used to use her cheese grater until she managed to find the tool, so that's an option too.

I just use my peeler as well, then sautéed them for a few mins in a tablespoon or 2 of olive oil, add in some mushrooms, garlic, onion.... then add a sprinkle of park at the end! Delish!

I have little cheap one "as seen on TV" too... works perfectly.

This isn't zoodles, but if you want something like spaghetti or carbonara , what about konjac pasta? Zero net carbs. Takes more / different preparation than package suggests, and none of the carb cosiness I associate with grain pasta, but it's pretty good!
