Diario di exxtoexx, 19 apr 12

I must of caught something at work that has made me sick or has drained me of every ounce of fluids in my body and every ounce of energy that is left to motivate. I only could walk around the block today and walk on treadmill for less than ten minutes. With the all the pollen in the air, my breathing feels like being out of the fish tank due to my asthma. Then on top of that my hubby says its time to eat, and zuccini and asparagus pizza didn't sound good today. I was a couch potato and sleeping most of the day. I feel a little better and thought i would eat a lot of carbs to get energy back up to work tonight. I know this isn't good for my eating habits and not good in general, but for my work today, there is no one to take my place. This is the first time that i have recorded my food intake on here as i find it more simple and easier to track. I am hoping to stick with it

Uch that sounds awful! It's probably just as well you slept, sometimes that's the best thing when you're sick. Try to get a lot of extra vitamin c - & there's nothing wrong with carbs - just shoot for the whole grain ones if you can - they're good for long term energy as well as fiber & b vitamins (which you need for dealing with stress). I don't know if you take supplements, but if you do - amp up on the c, e, b12 & b6. Oh & calcium/magnesium/zinc is a good one for stress/immunity too. Hope you feel better soon!
