Forgot to weigh myself on this fine, fine morning. Oooooops.
I had a good weekend.. Went and relived my college days on Friday. A friend was home from Las Vegas (he moved there for work) so we went back to Villanova to our old stomping grounds -- got waaayyy too drunk! Apparently none of us can drink like we used to!! But that's okay, we all had an awesome time.
Saturday was recovery day. Flag football game was at 3, and we lost horribly. Our team is made up of a bunch of individuals who signed up separately and got thrown together, and we're playing teams who've been together for 5+ years. It's a little unfair, but no one seems to be stepping up to take the captain position. So I organized a team bonding party at my place for Friday night :) Hopefully it helps before our Saturday game!
After our football game, I drove to the airport to pick up the BF. He was out in LA for two different interviews. He didn't get the job in Baltimore, so the chances of him moving to California are going up and up. It's really scary. We talk about it on occasion, but he keeps telling me not to worry about things until he actually finds a job. But I can't help it - I worry about things because I don't know what's going to happen. I just find myself getting more and more attached to him (even though I know I can be totally independent) and I don't want him to leave. My co-workers (more peers than actual co-workers) keep asking if I'm going to immediately move somewhere with him. I say no.. He's going to get a job, and move. We'll re-evaluate things six months to a year after the move, and take it from there. But what's scary is that I could potentially be moving again in a year, most likely across the country, meaning I'll have to find a new job, etc etc. It seems to becoming a little bit more real every single day, and it's scary!
Feels good to get that off my chest.. On another note, my team has another big volleyball game tonight. I'm excited! I hope we play as well as we did last week - we kicked butt!
I just got my confirmation email for my enrollment in the On Ramp class starting tomorrow for CrossFit!! I have been waiting for this day for months! I've heard that this gym is so close it's like a family, and I'm really excited to get involved. The on ramp class is 4 sessions, tuesday and thursday this week and next, which is instructional and teaches you how to properly do all of the techniques. It's a bit expensive to get involved in, but I'm hoping that it works well for me. If it works, I'd be willing to spend the extra money!
Sounds like everyone else had a pretty eventful weekend! Let's keep it that way and everyone have an excellent week too!
