Another lesson learned today, as my blood glucose gets back under control and my body releases all the sugar from the cells; things are changing. Like for instance - my vision. I just had an eye exam (already scheduled before the "event") and got new glasses. the good new was that my eyes are in great physical shape with no damage from the high BG levels. my new glasses have been getting less effective over the past few days...so I try on a pair I have from a few years ago and hey work perfect. so I am going back into the eye doctor and get re-assessed and have the other glasses canceled and re ordered. what an amazing system the human body is...take care of yourselves people - we only have one body and one shot at this life. I for one intend to be around for a while longer.
