ok, im really going to try to start doing a daily journal and record my food (as well as possible) that I consume, along with exercise...I know that I have said that I would do this before, and have not done it....this 18 month old of mine is keeping me busy, but Im serious about getting this weight off so that we can add to our family!! (also for my health and benefit!!!)

Just started doing my food journal...Ok, counting on you guys to help me out and KEEP ME STRAIGHT!!!!

I'm here to lend a helping hand too! :) I suggested using my old trick for journaling to someone else today and she called me a genius! Wow!! LOL I'm gonna share with you: I bought a 8X11 magnetic dry-erase board and put it on my fridge. Every time i ate or drank, I logged it on the board. I drew lines and made catagories (food type, calories, fat, carbs) at the bottom of my board, I wrote EXERCISE and put a big colorful star there if I worked out! Every time I'm in the kitchen, I can tell if i'm getting close to overdoing it on calories for the day...at a glance!

Someone else (I think LOTUS??) said she bought one too, from the dollar store! I found mine at Michaels crafts store for 50 cents!

that is a great idea...and i am going to really try to do well with the logging of the food items and exercise that is done...that in itself is a huge help....there is something about seeing things on paper!
