When I used the Fat Secret app several years ago it would let me scan the bar codes of the foods I was eating. I am no able to find it, did that feature get discontinued? Also, no matter how I search I am not able to find certain brand name items, suggestions?

When you are adding food into the diary, you should have a camera icon on the upper left corner when you first add the screen. You won't be able to see it if you have added another item first (you would see a check mark at that point).
