The scales showed a loss of 200 grams - I have been slack on the exercise this week. I'm aiming for over 500 grams between now and next Saturday so need a LARGE portion of will power and determination - aiming for 30 minutes of exercise a day.

Had a couple of days of entertaining/eating which has been great, and going out for lunch tomorrow, but am not discouraged...feeling happy! Just trying to gradually reduce the portion size of what i eat.

I have started to use the food diary - so easy to use and quicker than pen and paper - interesting to note just how much the daily calorie intake increases with chocolate and sweets (I have a very sweet tooth) - so...am going to have to keep up with the daily exercise - not too strenuous at the moment but will "cancel out" the sweets I think. I have visitors today (cakes/scones I'm sure!) but I will record everything I eat!
