think the best way to keep track of your food is to log it...its not difficult and keeps you honest. i find i cheat far less when im writing everything down- but theres def more to just writing down what you eat. A lot of female atheletes keep logs of why they eat, how theyre feeling- almost like a food/mood journal. Do you eat because your sad/stressed/bored? If you know why you eat bad mood, why you reach for the chocolate or ice cream- youre far less likely to continue to do it.

hate getting sick- feel much worse today than i did yesterday. hardest part for me when im sick- eating enough food. I usually dont want to eat much when im sick and thats not a good thing. Will still get to the gym after work today for some cardio. Havent had a chance to see the NPC schedule for next year yet- but aiming for may to compete. lots of time to put it in lots of work :)

hate stressful days at work...makes me want to eat crap. lol. but thankfully today is my "day off" at the gym...yup even us serious lifters take those. But for me that means a cardio day- so will be walking on the treadmill later. Easiest way to lose weight- more cals burned than consumed. lol. time to get burning!

Thanking god for sugar free gum and sugar free fudge pops. I have an insane sweet tooth so the sugar free fudge pops kills the chocolate craving (only 40 cals) and the sugar free gum keeps my mouth busy chewing so i dont miss eating (eat when i get bored). Clean eating week 1 a success so far. Cheat meal tomorrow nite :)
