GAINED 3 LBS !!!
I ate on plan last week and didn't even use all of my flex points. I drank 64 ounces of water everyday except one. But I gained!!

I am still trying to "figure" weight watchers out, because my brain wants me to "diet" and I have to force my self to "eat within my points"....Does that make sense.

One thing I did NOT do was get in all of my veggies and dairy everyday.Neither did I excercise.....But gain 3 lbs!!

My clothes fit a little better and my husband said he can "tell" I have lost (this was before I walked out of the door for weigh-in, mind you).

What gives!?!

You may find that you do actually need to eat those flex points in order to make your body lose. If you're following US Weight Watcher the calories are actually quite low, which is why there are 35 flex points to play with throughout the week. Here in the UK, we don't have the 35 flex points and our formula for calculating is slightly different. But I have been analysing this from filling in my food diary since September (lol... you'd think I'd have better things to do!!) - but overall US and UK points work out at about the same. So perhaps try eating all your flex points and see if that might help. Also make sure that you're getting enough fat in your diet... WW tends to be quite low in fat, but if we don't get enough then it can slow down your metabolism. If you can eat loads of veggies, that will help too - they tend to contain more fibre than say salad, so will also help fill you up. I've only started exercising regularly within the last couple of months... but have noticed that it really has made a difference in the inches that I'm losing. So if you can try and fit something in, I'm sure that it would help you too. Although cardio exercise is good for burning calories, you might find something like resistance training more relaxing. I now regularly use a dyna-band (stretchy elastic band thing) and it's really helping with building muscle... which in the long run helps to burn more calories. Keep up the great work though, as you will bust those pounds. That happens sometimes! Just keep working the plan. Make sure you eat your daily points every day. Stay away from too many processed foods as they have a lot of sodium. Just keep working the program and you will see a loss. Sometimes people lose fat, but you don't see it on the scale straight away. Plus, did you just switch from another plan. That can make a difference too. Give it a couple of weeks and I am sure you will see a downward trend. I know lot's of people who have gained the first week and ended up losing over a 100 pounds. You can do it!

Moonlite, Thanks...I will increase the veggie intake and use more of my flex points

Suzi161, I guess my food choices need to change a bit. I ate HC Dinners 4 times last week for lunch because of the convenience. This is an improvement however...I use to have coffee in the morning, skip lunch, eat fast food around 2:30, then usually another type of takeout for dinner.
