My weight has stayed the same this week. Ok. I am really busy at work, looking forward to this week being over!!! Going out tomorrow night with the "girls". Already have my food planned. But what I have not planned is a family gathering Saturday. There is always so much food at those things. At these events....seems the goal there is to see HOW MUCH food you can put on your plate and eat!!! Yes, at one time that was my goal also. Now I am fearing that I will "mess up". I need to "allow" myself to have something--I suppose. I just don't want to get out of control. I have come a long way, I have slipped, and recovered. I just don't want to do something and it will take weeks to recover from!!!

You will be fine! Just stick to your plan of knowing which foods are good to choose and which you should stay away from. Also when putting food on your plate (notice I didn't saying while filling your plate????), look at what it is and put only half of what you would normally. This should help with portion control. That was my method at the holidays. Half portions will allow you to taste what you want but help keep calories lower. You know how to do this. Besides, everyone will be telling you how GREAT you look and that will remind you how far you've come!
