Well, I don't know what to say about this 2 pound weight increase. I am still apparently suffering from PMS...it's been 3 weeks now...should I call it something else? I'm back on the higher protein diet because my body feels peaceful on it. No other way to explain it: the higher carb makes me feel jittery and more apt to crave sweets.

Is less than 1200 calories a day your norm? If so, it's not healthy and is probably causing your body to hang on that fat since it thinks it's being starved. I sometimes zig zag like my doctor suggested...it helps to keep the body from getting overly accustomed to a set number of calories.
