Hi Aras, wow what an amazing amount of weight you have lost, just interested in your journey, has all the weight loss been from just a calorie controlled diet ? And how long has it taken you from beginning to now ?

Hi Tony, thank you! I started researching the Ketogenic diet and liked what I learnt. There are great recipies at the Diet Doctor website and so follow Maria Emmerich on YouTube for fantastic recipies and now have all of her e-books. I kicked off my keto way of eating atvthe start of October 2019. Lost 6kg in the first month and have had steady weight loss since then. April 2020 was a bit of a stall but I did some more research and decreased my carbs further and the weight ia steadily coming off again. I feel amazing eating this way. The first couple of weeks were tough to get over my addiction to carbs and sugar but it was SO worth it. I started off with a calorie goal of less than 1400 and less than 30 grams of carbs. Then after a few months went down to 1200 cals and 20 grams of carbs. Now I am at 1200 cals and 10 grams of carbs and try to meet my protein goal of 95 grams per day. I hope thats of some use to you and good luck in finding what best works for you.
