The older I get the slower the weight-loss. Just finished 4 weeks of Whole 30, not impressed, my weight loss style is definitely lower carb than what is offered on that plan. Need to figure out a less cholesterol keyo style diet. I am open to any suggestions..

You can replace animal fats with other fats. Use avocado, avocado oil and olive oil for instance. I think eliminating snacking and sticking to meals also would be good. Keep as active as you can Good luck.

Well first off Whole30 isn’t a weight loss program, it’s an anti inflammatory reset. People do sometimes see weight loss because they are cutting out processed food and alcohol. Two huge contributors to weight gain. Did you eat a lot of potatoes and fruit while doing Whole30? I made that mistake the first or second time I did it. For me Whole30 just has me feeling so good that I make good choices in the physical activity department!

I’m doing Atkins, low carb. Coconut 🥥 oil is another fat choice.

I’m using whole 30 & Paleo ideas and eating real food. The recipes are tweeted to fit into the Atkins WoE.

4 weeks isn't really a lot of time to see changes in your body,but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot of positive changes going on inside. Making healthy choices will always benefit you. I hope you find the right macros your metabolism respond best to. We are all a little different. I find that staying low carb most of the week,but having at least one cheat day helps me stay on track for a longer time. But I have also hit a plateau.best of luck to you,it's very frustrating that it's so much harder to lose weight now that I'm older. Thanks for sharing!
