Only 4 days till Christmas! Wow! So I bought some candy canes filled with Hersheys Kisses for the crew at work. I passed them out but now I feel kinda lame because their gifts are better. Oh well... I used to give better gifts when we had more money and less kids. It's the thought that counts right. I woke up the morning thinking I was late for work. So I don't shower and I throw some clothes on and grab my keys and realized I thought it was an hour later than it really was! So instead of getting undressed and getting in the shower I went back to bed with my clothes on. Then I almost overslept! Oh well There is no one here this week. It is so quiet and nice.

don't worry about the gifts you give - it's always the thought that counts. money is tight on my end too so i'm baking/cooking my gifts. it something everyone needs/enjoys and it's so much more cost efficient. last year i knitted scarves for everyone (picked up yarn throughout the year when it was on sale). i'd rather spend my $$ on the kids and even then, they're cool about whatever they get. have a wonderful, wonderful holiday and enjoy the peace at work!
