It's awesome that you quit smoking! Your lungs and body will be so much healthier. Don't worry about the 10 pounds. You can address that. Just try not to go back to smoking. When I quit 12 years ago I took it sometimes one minute at a time. I'm so grateful that smoking is behind me. You can make it!

It's good to hear that you recognize the problem. I quit years ago. My advise to you is to sip water each time you want to smoke. And take a short walk. Even if it's only around your living space. (Outside options are scarce these days). And find a hobby that will occupy your hands. I started making crocheted lace. Haven't stopped doing that since.

When my mom stopped smoking, she too gained weight. I gather it's normal. Congrats on a breaking a difficult habit.
