Can only hope the reason I am holding on to the weight is from sodium intake and sore muscles. Hot tub and sauna along with tons of water today might do the trick. If not, I have no clue where to go from here.

Yes, sore muscles means your muscles are retaining water. They just need a time to get used to the exercise and it will go away. The scale will go back down.

So is there anything I can do besides time to get muscles to release the water?

Cherries or cherry juice is supposed to help heal muscles faster. Warm bath. Plenty of water.

I'll have to give it a try. Went and got concentrated cranberry juice to see if it will help with sodium removal. If nothing else it cleans the bladder.
