It took me til I was almost 65 to figure out how much walking helps to lose weight but before then I was def a couch potato 🤣 especially years ago when I use to eat my feelings. I've been more active the last 15 years . I have used a treadmill off and on but to actually walk over an hour is new to me and makes me feel good too. I try for atleast 21500 steps if not more per day.
