This wasn't my best weekend on record calorie-wise, but overall, I'm still maintaining a net loss when it comes to energy consumed verses energy expended. I'm finding out that my body does not like to lose weight, especially when I'm nursing injuries, therefore my weight loss is a little slow (at least for me). Since the start of the year I'm down 15lbs with much of the weight loss coming from a reduction in my caloric intake but little to no increase in my daily activity. With the chronic neck pain and knee pain I've been experiencing, I'm finding it difficult to get into any regular, intense work out routine. My biggest source of activity comes from an increase in the amount of walking I do, but even that lately has been difficult with my knee pain. Even swimming last week was extremely difficult.

However, all that said, I'm still committed to my goals of living healthfully and actively. Little by little I'm making strides towards that goal. So even if the healing in my body takes some time, I'm still gonna press on towards the finish line. I've finally found a routine/system that helps me effectively achieve my goals, so I'm willing to give it time to work itself out. I'm actively seeking out treatments for my neck and knee (acupuncture, chiropractic work, and massage therapy). I hope in a few weeks I'll be able to see dramatic improvements!
