6 days post op and a major op at that. Lots of pain and swelling still , first two weeks are a nightmare apparently and I can vouch that they appear to be.
So although it appears I've gained 2 kg, I'm not phased. I know my eating plan works. I know my body. I just have to ride out this recovery, keep eating right, stay focussed.
interestingly I weighed in at 78.2 on the morning of the op. With no food or drink by the time they weighed me in hospital later that morning I weighed 78.8kg. Stress, inflammation, pain etc all impact my weight. I know that.
So relax, grit your teeth through the rehab exercises, and ride it out deary.
I'm now bionic, screw and pin, maybe they are causing the weight gain 🤔 🤣
