So...I feel really lucky that I haven't gained any weight in the past six weeks with all the vacationing and partying I've been doing. I think it's a real indicator that even if I consume enough extra calories on special occasions that it stalls my weight loss, I manage to stick to my plan well enough the rest of the time that I don't gain weight either...so I'm pretty pleased all round, even though I'm disappointed not to have used this valuable time to lose more weight. My sister's birthday visit is the last in this cycle of carousing, so after that, I should begin to drop weight again...as I said six weeks ago, at least I know what my maintenance diet needs to be.
