Got in my hike this morning before heading off to work. Feeling a little proud about yesterday. I got in 23 hours of fasting. I took my last bite of food on Sunday night at our monthly movie group meeting at 6:30 and I didn't eat again until Monday night around 5:30. While I did forget that I was fasting and drank the coffee that my husband automatically made me I feel like it was a good start. I'm experimenting with doing one day of week of total fasting which I guess would end up at around 36 hours total, if I stopped eating Sunday night and then didn't eat again until Tuesday morning. I'm not there yet but thinking maybe next week I'll extend it a few hours and see how it goes. I pretty much made it through the day without thinking about or craving food. That would not have been the case 2 years ago when I was experimenting with fasting, but I've changed my microbiome to a much healthier state now. This is so exciting to me (hey I'm an experiment nerd). Have a great Tuesday everyone. Best of luck to you all in your journey.
