I do like checking my weight daily then I can see if it's pushing up the scale. Also wanted to mention I have started using KT tape to support my knees instead of a bulky brace. YouTube has instructions for knees, elbows, carple tunel, etc. it helped support my arthritic knee caps well for two day. Will apply another after shower today.

I'll second the magic of KT tape over a brace when only small to moderate amount of extra support is needed. From a past athletic (and will be again) big guy perspective its amazing. Lot's of damage to ankles, knees, elbows over the years and this stuff really does a good job and helped keep me in the game with the young bucks.
