Good news! Instead of eating my feelings, I just focused on something completely mundane...hand grating parmesan cheese is both good for tasty future recipes and taking the focus off an over anxious/stupidly sad feeling brain by focusing all my energy on not shredding my fingers along with the cheese...the night is young, but I do feel better at present... Thanks all, for your suggestions and kind words.
