Well I am still losing butI am barely in ketosis. I am not going to record my loss until Monday morning. Hopefully more will be gone by then. I feel alot more comfortable in my clothes. My stomach has definately gotten smaller. I was wearing really long baggy shirts to cover my gut but my gut sticks out way less now so I am more comfortable wearing some regular shirts that arent just a plain Haines T-shirt.

If you haven't done so yet I highly recommend taking body measurements. Just because the scale doesn't budge doesn't mean that we aren't losing inches. This is very common on Atkins, especially after a good loss as our bodies will need time to recover and adjust. Knowing you are in ketosis is wonderful, don't get preoccupied over it. There are a lot of little things that can affect your readings. If you are losing pounds and/or inches - your fine.

I really do need to measure. I think my mother in law has one of those sewing measuring tapes. I will be sure and do that. Where do you measure for your waist? right at your belly button?

you are doing so good Amanda, like Keli said take your measurements its great to see the inches go as well as the pounds. It wont be long and you will be tucking those shirts in..have a great weekend. :)

I measure my waist at my belly button. Just be consistent to measure in the same places and you'll see the changes.

I try not to obcess with the keto sticks. This is how bad it is. I bought a 100 count bottle and I have been on atkins for 18 days and I have maybe 20 keto sticks left. I use one in the morning, one when I get home from work and one before I go to bed! OCD? I just love that I can pee on a stick and see proof that I am burning fat! LOL! I know that there are other ways to see that I am burning fat such as weight & measurements but with the keto sticks I can try eating more or less of a certian thing and tell what I need to change.

Amanda you are doing so well!!! You are shrinking! Isn't it great? Don't get obsessed with the ketosticks. I don't even use them anymore. I post all my food on fatsecret and I know what carbs I am eating and I am losing consistently so that is all I need to know. If I am sticking to the food plan I am burning fat. Get that measuring tape. Once when I didn't lose for 11 days I kept losing inches.

Amanda, the amount of ketones we spill changes throughout the day. I seem to record the darkest between 5-7 pm. Just find what time is best for you and keep checking them.
