A better day today. At least mood-wise. I think it might help to unload all the crap sometime. Still feeling on the edge, but at least I had a good workout and that is really important. It took me forever, but it was interrupted several times. I did Cardio Max 1 & 2. I'd tried level 3 but I just don't like the moves that trainer uses. Seems to hurt my back when I follow her routines and she's so damn peppy I don't care for them. Then I did Bootcamp, level 1, then did some of Jillian's No More Trouble Zones. I think I did four segments of that one. Anyway, between all the stops and all, I burned over 500 calories, but would have burned maybe 150 - 175 sitting on the sofa over the same amount of time. I still think it works more than the immediate burn, since I think it revs up the calorie burning for the day. Maybe not a lot, but a good additional 100 - 150 calories a day. At this point, I'll take all the calorie burning I can get! That adds up to another pound a month. Yep, just talked myself into it : ) It's worth continuing.
We're going camping again this coming weekend. We'll probably leave Thursday late afternoon so we can be fairly sure we'll get the same area we went last time. I'm looking forward to it, but know it's another break in the routine. I guess its life, so I may as well get used to dealing with all the stuff life hands you while still trying to get and maintain health, right?
