I was filling in my food diary and I realized just how easy it is to have a really high-calorie (otherwise healthy) breakfast! For example this morning: porridge + peanut butter + honey + banana = 857kcal! Does anyone have any recommendations for a healthy breakfast with a lower calorie count?

The calorie count on the oats seems like that would be for 1 cup dry and not one cup cooked. So you may not have eaten that many calories.

I don't know what kind of oats you are eating, but I have to agree that the entry for the oats seems WAY off. I have 1/2 cup uncooked old fashioned oats (1 1/2 c cooked) and that's only 150 calories, so even if you had a whole cup of oats (3 cups cooked for me) that would still be only 300 calories. One cup of raw steel cut oats would have about 600 calories, but that would make about 6 cups of cooked oatmeal.
