This is my second journal for the day but I just had to share my good news. Well I talked with my boss today. I am a temp accounting assistant at a Paper Mill. Anyways they told me when they hired me that my assignment could last 6 months or 2 years. They werent sure because there is a financial re-structure coming up since the company was bought out a year or so ago. Anyways they are hiring a new financial analyst and a co-worker told me that it might make my job go away because the new person is going to take alof of the work load away. Well I went to my boss today and she said that this new person is here to get us going on the new accounting system and that they won't do any kind of changes in the work load for everyone till March 2011. So I'm good! :D Till March anyways. They have had a temp in this position for about 8 years and almost all of those temps eventually earned a permanent position with the company. My fingers are crossed and I am going to work very hard. A huge weight has been lifted off of me for now anyways. Whew!!!
