Diario di redwinelover, 18 lug 10

Slept until 8:30 again. I don't like being in bed past about 7:30 usually. Up til midnight reading, but still...
Finished the cardio part of my work out- the stretching and 1 & 2, about 275 calories. Feel like jumping in the pool, maybe I'll do the second part of the workout after that...I know that unless I feel like I'm "starving" myself and eating 1200 calories a day or less, I have to burn a good 500 calories a day working out. Then I can still eat about 1300 - 1400 calories and not feel like I'm starving, and still drop some weight. Didn't weigh myself today (or yesterday - part of one of the challenges to weigh in every day so I used the previous day's weight) because I'm feeling bloated and all. I'll just make sure to drink tons of water today and I'll weigh myself tomorrow, regardless. Took my waist measurement today and I've lost 6" for sure, and a slight possibility it might have been 6 1/2" bigger than it is now at the start of this. Only 2" away from my wedding waist size 23 years ago next month :) I put on a skirt yesterday that I haven't worn for 6 years, I think. Or maybe it's five...think it was five. Still, seems like a lifetime ago!

later...Actually finished my workout! I did the 50 min. of Jillian's Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism one. I'm worn out today. Between two workout sessions, vacuuming, laundry, cooking, and playing in the pool, I am so tired. But hopefully it's the good tired - the one that comes from a day of activity. On track to burn about 2600 calories today.
