Diario di redwinelover, 31 lug 10

Just did Day 3 of Insanity workout and unbelievably, I'm a little disappointed. It's a cardio recovery day, so I only burned 100 calories. Bought a couple more dvds to choose from, so think I'll go pop one in. I like the slim in six ones I have so far if only because she gives great, clear instructions and goes around correcting for when need be. But I need to go burn me some calories....I'll find something. Think I have over 20 workout dvds now. Gee...not compulsive at all, am I?

Well, I did about 30 or 35 min. of Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism, then polished furniture for a while and picked up stuff here and there. Managed to barely get my target of 75 min. of physical activity in today. Oh well, every body needs a rest, right? :) Oh! My Slim in Six dvd set came today with the bands and all. I'll read thru the stuff tonight and see if I want to give it a go tomorrow. It may depend on what Insanity has in store for me...I have a feeling it's going to be brutal.

Yes, Info. I really do. I like to exercise in the privacy of my own home...vanity, I'm sure. Don't like others seeing me sweating and hair lookin' all bad, no make-up...and the grunts and groans that go with some of these moves (not to mention the occasional profanity!)...well, lets just say it's (almost) as much for "them" as it is for me! And, well...I think I AM a bit of a compulsive person. Not that I'm proud of that one, necessarily.

Well I started one of my DVD's last night - I got through the warmup and part of the exercises but not all the way but I was pleased that I finally started. I planned to try it again and my goal is to make it at least 20 minutes today but my blood pressure has been very low today it was 95/55 earlier so I have to raise it before I can exercise I think or maybe exercising raises it. I almost fainted just standing up this morning. Glad you are enjoying your DVD's so much. You inspire me to buckle down and get in a routine with mine.

Andrea, I'm SO happy you started. I commented on your journal, and somehow on your weight recording! I was wondering if you needed more salt in your diet. It seems weird, but I know k8te on here had a similar problem with dizziness on standing. Exercise does help blood pressure :) I'm proud of you for starting!
