Day 4 of Insanity workout. Today was Pure Cardio but I made it through. Took a few short breaks here and there, especially after the 20 min. mark. Did really well up until that point. It'll be interesting to compare how I do by the end of the first four weeks. It was a 40 min. workout and I burned close to 350 calories. I think I'll start the Slim in 6 series, too. I just need to burn more calories and with it so hot here, no hiking, not even taking a walk regardless of the time of day (or night). So it has to be working out. Unless I decide to clean the house from top to bottom! :) Oh. Weight is down slightly - 138.4. I'll weigh in "officially" tomorrow, though. Be great to have one of those full pound overnight drops!

(later)... I did the first routine of Slim in 6 (25 min.). Since it was a lot of instruction and things I've been doing for quite awhile, it wasn't a workout - more like reinforcing how to do the moves for the most part. So I put in the next one - Ramp it Up, I think it's called and did that one (45 min - skipped some of the warm-up as I'd just done it). Now I'm icing my knees and checking my bodybugg and I've burned about 780 calories over the two hours of working out. Good, on track to burn at least 2500 calories today if I don't do a whole lot else. I can always clean house tomorrow :)

Compared bodybugg calories burned last month per day vs. what I've recorded - going to go with bodybugg numbers. Average 2480 burn per day, consumed 1383 per day. 43% carb, 35% protein, and 22% fat on average. 9,492 steps per day, and averaged 2 1/2 hrs. moderate activity per day.

Well, thank you! All of you...believe me, I'd never have thought I had it in me a few months ago. :) I think I need to back off a bit, though, the knees are pretty sore. Maybe two hours is too long :)
