Day 44 of Insanity. Today was relatively "easy", being a Max Recovery day. Tomorrow's going to be tough, though... Max Cardio Conditioning & Cardio Abs. Oh boy...
Didn't record a journal entry yesterday. Stayed pretty busy most of the day. I'm telling you - when I go shopping, I burn a lot more calories in a day. Yesterday I burned nearly 3100 calories. True, I had a good workout in there, but it's the difference between sitting on my butt most of the day and doing ANYTHING else.
Scored an awesome pair of jeans at a thrift store. Lightly worn, fit perfectly, if long (heels, I guess) and expensive for a thrift store. The tag was $25, but that color tag was 50% off yesterday, so I tried them on. Glad I did. Looked them up online and I got a pair of $70 jeans for $12.50 :) THAT makes me happy! I'm not finished losing weight, so they probably won't end up fitting in another month or two anyway. Picked up a couple of cute tops, too. The jeans, a size 27, which online supposedly means either a 4 or a 6 (I'm guessing a 6) and the tops are a small. :) Happy, happy. I just hate wearing baggy jeans - always have, no matter what size I am. I also did some grocery shopping, so all the schlepping groceries to and from and putting stuff away helps burn calories. Today? Been sitting here more than not, AND a recovery type of workout, so probably won't be a high burner...well, maybe 2500. That's good, that's what I aim to burn. I really need to think about getting up earlier and taking a walk first thing. That's be good! Take my pill, can't eat for an hour, I ALWAYS eat before I work out, so I should walk that hour, then eat, then catch up here, then work out. Sounds nice...doubt if I'll start that in the morning, though :) Well, after a high calorie burn day and a low intake day, I DID manage to drop the rest of the weight from the damn pita chips/wine/weekend and even down about half a pound. Not much for a week, but I'll take it. Sure am going to try to lose the 1.8 per week I SHOULD be able to count on over the next couple of weeks. I really, really want to be in the 120's. I KNOW it's just a NUMBER. But I really like the way that sounds! :D
