I am having a hard time sleeping. I wake up in the middle of the night, and it takes me an hour to get back to sleep. I strongly dislike it. But I read on my iPad, and try to figure out what I can do to make extra money.
I ham on govt benefits, and they see no way of me recovering. My parents believe I will never work again. I got to work the Amazon Fulfillment Center here in Salt Lake, but I wigged out after I was there 2 weeks. I'm banned from there until March.I will go back in March, hoping to be more stable, and not quitting after 2 weeks.
Benefits were available, and if you got COVID, they would follow CDC, guidelines, and paid you for the missed 2 weeks. Amazon is the best! Very very fun place to work, but a lot is manual labor, putting packages together, and fixing the stickers if you were a Prime member. It's almost like a family there.
It was fun, then I got angry. Very angry. I was not violent in any way. But I was the absolute lowest 'productive' person on the list of employees. I was offered a cross training position, off the Gift Line, and I signed up for it, then I get mad.
I might start my own web business, but I need to resolve my anger. I want to be the best I can be. I know I can do it. So many people know 'tricks' when they are working. Many people know how to package and they are very fast at it.
I figure that's why I was at the bottom. Also, when no packages came down the line, that may have been counted against you. I'm not sure.
Meanwhile, I'll work on my attitude. I know I can do the work. Thank heavens I was able to take a year off. Of course, I don't believe I will be able to work, and go to school at the same time.
I hyper focus on one thing at a time. I'll keep working on my attitude. And my weight. I am 255, and quite unhappy. I am one of those that didn't exercise until considerable work on my eating.
I am so glad that FS has a recipe section. All the salmon food looks good! Mmmmmmmmm.
