My weight is not moving. It's crazy. However, I need to use my scale now, to see if things are really that bad. We've got a whole bunch of good stuff at the store.

My dad bought cantaloupe and watermelon, and my mom and I were responsible for the rest of the food. We actually bought under 100 dollars *combined*. It was good.

Things need to get back on track. I *need* to exercise. Eating the good is not enough.

I need the exercise. Really. My mom no longer uses the elliptical, so I need to figure it out. We have a recumbent exercise bike, and it hurts my knees now.

My foot twitches, and things are going wrong. I need to stabilize my blood sugar by exercising. But my brain wants to forget about it, and lose my leg. It doesn't want to exercise. It hates what it did in 2004.

Lost 100 pounds lost over the year, and I had definitely been able to stick to a diet. It was included with the program I was on.

I need to learn how to cook too. Crock pot stuff is my fave! I at least know what I am doing with the crock. Any suggestions are welcome.

The crock pot is pretty easy. Start by googling the recipe. ex. beef stew, or keto brisket. Read a couple of recipes, keep it simple, pick one and off you go!

OK! I've been praying, and it's hard to eat meat because of it's price. Our economy is picking up, but inflation is increasing. It's hard to shop for meat. Beef stew and chicken cordon bleu sound good.

Things like port loin are still very reasonable. Practicing portion control is a major plus in reducing everyone’s grocery bill, as is cutting down on pre-made, and processed foods. There are lots of great cooking programs on TV that you can get menu ideas and how to information from. Just keep working at it.

My doctor is worried about me going over the 7.0 mark for the A1c test. He is genuinely scared for me, so he assembled a team. They call me every 3 weeks. One of them asks me about my blood sugar numbers. Also... the two is proficient. One is a pharmacist, and the other is a nurse. I am going to bring up my scale and start weighing. I had 2 cups of watermelon, and the same with cantaloupe. That was breakfast. I love fruit and veggies. I know my sugar will drop drastically, and I will have to drink orange juice.

Eating sugary fruit does not drop you blood sugar or A1c. Concentrate on protein like eggs for breakfast. Talk to that nutritionist.

I need to exercise, and there's no avoiding it. Our recumbent bike is making my knees hurt. I sit down and go 10 minutes, and it hurts. I think I need to go to the multipurpose center close by. They have upgraded equipment. And upright bikes.

All fruit turns straight to sugar. Stick with Fat, meat, eggs, and veggies.

Youtube has some good workout videos for people with bad knees. I use those videos from time to time. Also swimming or water aerobics is great for bad knees as well.

A thought, from someone that has lost 65lbs since February, set your goals at 10 lbs increments and practice sustaining your weight at each goal weight... 12 lbs is nothing to snuff at. Congratulations on that, now get back in the game and set an attainable goal of another 8lbs to make it twenty... and then continue onward. Prioritize protein, proteins that you and your body like. As for carbs, watermelon will likely do a number on you quickly, so you should exercise shortly after consuming it, if you're going to consume that and other forms of fructose. Just some thoughts from a guy that doesn't run, but I do walk.. and I've walked that same path. So don't give up, get back to the basics that got you to that 12 lbs and repeat that again. Cheers and best wishes on the journey.

I lost 120lbs then gained back 42 and now I lost 41.5, with 4 lbs left to my goal. focus on what you want and you can do anything. the beginning is the hardest and it took months for me to see a real difference in my face/body etc. as for crick pot recipes, chicken "chilli" is good and shoving a whole chunk of pork and veggies ( I prefer string beans, cauliflower, broc, brussel sprouts, bean sprouts) with a touch of maple syrup and like 2 inches of water, omg, the house smells amazing and I eat it for days!!

Healthy stir frys are useful, easy and fun. Lean meats, an almost endless variety of veggies and low to no calorie seasonings can make a low calorie, low carb, high protein meal very appealing. You can also use tofu. Good luck.

I haunt Pinterest for healthy casseroles , or any meal where I will have leftovers. Some I freeze, some I fridge. I keep cooking till I have a good assortment , and my freezer full of my meal size Gladware!! I eat what’s in the fridge! Then I go for easy stuff like grilled hamburgers. Again , leftovers. After awhile my freezer can supply me with plenty of meals when I don’t feel like cooking or have late doctors appts! My family eats these meals too except My son eats 2!! In the start, it took a bit but now casseroles and leftovers are a way of life!! Pinterest has a lot of slow cooker recipes! And I get a bunch of leftovers there too!! Roasts, stews, soups, chili’s!! Lots of extra’s for another day!!

We don't go to the store until Friday. I go with my mom, since I have no car. We go as a team, because I need to have stability, because I am Schizophrenic, as well as being a cancer survivor. I had acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) that I am in remission for the last 5 years. I made it to my 5 year anniversary, saying that I will never have that type ever again! wooooooop! I almost had a bone marrow transplant. But I feel that I was saved by the Lord, since I left the LDS church. I just needed a little push.

I have a crockpot and use it a lot and get most of my recipes from Pinterest. I also have an Insta pot and the air fryer lid and basket that works with the Insta pot base. Boneless skinless chicken breast are usually my go to meat for most recipes
