the whole carding thing is ridiculous. I'm 60 and get carded for everything. If anyone says I look under 20 I hope they aren't driving. no one should drive if they're that blind.

How, pray tell, is carding someone discrimination? If you're 25 and get carded-its a compliment. If you're 60 it's a wtf moment. I actually know the answer and it's actually much more moronic than imaginable.

And this could be your next goal -- drop into Onederland and reward yourself with a new, updated Drivers License 🎓🚗 (Not that waiting in line at the MVA is a reward, but you know.)

I got carded well into my 40s. Always considered it a compliment. You should also.

I think this driver's license photo may actually be the worst photo that has ever been taken of me in my life. If I can get down to 190 lbs I think I will go get a new photo taken for my license. If it's getting to the point where people are questioning if it's really me then I guess I will need a new photo.

When I worked at the Regal Cinemas in the Hamilton Mall it was our policy to check everyone for id when buying an R rated film who looked like they might be under 40. There were quite a few ladies who took it as a compliment when I told them "I'm afraid I don't believe your over 17. You're going to have to show me your ID." I would regularly card ladiesI remember one older lady saying. "Oh no! you're-absolutely right. You caught me." And she bought a ticket to a pg film instead.

@john: love the story about the regal! Haha! I think I hugged the last guy that carded me in a bar?!?!?
Here's a recent story: traveling to MS to see family last October. The TSA agent really looked at my pic.... took a full minute or so..... looked back at me twice and then said "you've lost some weight"
..... wow .... NSV!
Anyhoo, you absolutely look YOUNGER now. The other pic could be your dad - thus the question "is this really you?"
Haha 😂

I get carded all the time when I buy alcohol one county over. I know a couple of resteraunts got cited for serving to underage patrons. All of the businesses (resteraunts, grocery stores) started carding everyone. I don't get my panties in a twist.

John you don't look like your pic anymore....so yes, time for a new one 😁

Many places her in California have a policy of carding EVERYONE to prevent lawsuits for discrimination. That’s ok. Works for me.

You look great!! I never get carded, most likely because I've always got my kids in tow and they are HUGE for their ages (my 10 YO D is 5'5", I don't know how tall he is but he's a tank of a kid), and most days I just look like a ragged mess. But not you! Enjoy it!

*my 6 year old son is the tank, not my daughter. LOL!!
