I went on vacation a couple weeks ago. I stuck to my diet very well, but I wasn’t as physically active as usual. Then last week everyone in my house got sick (I’m still sick) so I feel like I’ve done next-to-nothing the last three weeks. I’m weighing myself tomorrow at the doctor, and I know I’ve gone up at least five pounds. Part of it is due to constipation; I’ve got an appointment with G.I. next month, as that’s a chronic issue. But despite having eaten right, and the fact that coughs burn about two calories each, I know I’ve gained. I see it in my face.
