My therapist told me I need to learn to rest because I don't know how. My initial response was wtf I'm a lazy person, if there's one thing I know how to do is to do nothing. She told me that preparing things for work or doing chores or running errands is not resting. I felt such an overwhelming resistance inside when I heard these words... Well, apparently not touching work for two days or asking hubby to take on some chores resulted in me feeling much better, not craving sugary food and being able to within my calorie allowance.
What.
The.
Hell.
Guess I really need to learn how to turn my work-work balance into work-life balance if I want to live a healthier life.
