I was between 235-240 pounds in high school (40 years ago), though not with the same body dimensions.

Only 35 more pounds until I reach my pre-second debilitating illness weight.

Congrats on the weight loss! I too have major knee issues and have had seven surgeries (three on the right, four on the left) over the last almost three years. I just got my left knee replaced on Aug 28th and my right knee replaced on Dec 4th. I'm looking forward to being able to move and exercise again and get this weight off! I know how frustrating injuries are to weight loss efforts and emotional and mental wellbeing. I'm happy that you seem to be doing so well!

Before becoming ill for the second time, I would walk between 140 to 160 miles a week. I would walk everywhere. I have focused on weight lifting the past year, but I will start my walking routine this spring. I will be back at 200 pounds by midyear.

Looking great 😃👍. I also miss walking, although I don't have any injuries to stop me I've had a hard time getting back into walking. The couple times I've tried to do walks (nothing significant really just a couple miles around our block) it's went really well the day of the Walk, but I've used too many "spoons" for those of you that are aware of what that means. For those of you who are those of you are not aware of people with fatigue issues; fatigue doesn't work one day to the next it builds over days and you can use all your energy up from one day and it carries over to the next day causing fatigue spells. I've caused myself a major issues this way where I think I'm okay until I'm just not I have major energy issues I just can't seem to get up and have trouble sitting up holding things breathing other really basic task issues... So although I enjoyed it makes me hesitant to go back to walking because I really most of my life have walked everywhere or at least biked everywhere including to work everyday so it's a big change for me this last year. I hope that you're able to start your walking again so that you can enjoy all the wonderful things that you can see when you're out and about.
