This weekend was a tough one. I had a wedding and a family gathering; neither one wanted to serve 'appropriate' food for my diet, and if they did there were many temptations in the way like wedding cake, champagne, cookies, and other starchy foods. I did cheat with a slice of wedding cake and some other small portions of 'bad' foods, but boy did I pay for it later!! My stomache was so upset both nights that I realized it just wasn't worth it! I'm going to do my best to try to stick to phase I for a few days to get back to the basics. I just need to stay on track and work towards this long term goal. Lets hope we can make it through this together---tough times and all!!
