My first day in the gym after a while. Managed to burn 540 calories in around one hour.
I expect to drop one pound between today and the middle of the week.
it feels that I have a long way ahead. Feeling hungry most of the days.

You shouldn’t be hungry, even when on a diet! Be careful not to drop your calories too low (especially when you’re exercising), eat meals that fill you up (a lot of protein, some whole meal grains, loats of veg) and so on.. hope your journey goes well!
