Help, I've fallen and I can't get up. At least it feels that way. I haven't been able to get back and maintain my diet for three months now. I keep trying, but I keep allowing things to throw me off track. I started well at the beginning of the year and got through the first three days, and thought I was on my way, but slipped for the next few days and then completely abandoned the effort for most of last week. I finally got back to it for the past two days. When I weighed in today, I was surprised to actually lose weight after all of that. While I need to concentrate and avoid slips, the bigger problem is that when I go off the diet, I go off spectacularly. I almost purposely overeat; stuffing in all the things I don't allow myself when I'm on the diet. If I'm not able to modify that behavior, even if I reach my goal weight, I'm just going to put it back on. Anyway, I'm back on track, and I intend to stay on track. I don't see any minefields in the next month, so I shouldn't have any excuses. Here's hoping.
