- Add meat, water, and soy sauce to crock pot and cook on low 6 hours.
- Add broccoli and brown sugar 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve over rice or noodles.

Incredible! One of the best recipes for beef and so easy! Next time we will also add some sliced mushrooms and carrots for color. Possiblilites are endless. Only put 2 t sugar in too. The "sauce" was incredibly tasty...wish there was left overs! Served it over plain minute rice to keep it low cal. You won't be dissapointed. Thank you Jenn!

Not much flavor, I expected it two have a Chinese taste. I made it twice...

Taste was terrific; I omitted the brown sugar and served it over Mahatma Brown Rice. I only gave it 3 stars because it is very high in sodium.

We had this last night over rice. It was definitely easy. It was also very good. The only thing I would do differently is use stir fry meat instead of stew meat. And I think I would add just a tad more brown sugar and soy sauce.

very good! I added 3 crushed garlic cloves and a few tablespoons of hoisen sauce for added flavor. I also used some flour to thicken up the sauce. We served it over beef flavor instant rice and it was great! Next time I will also add in some shredded carrots and mushrooms.

I really enjoyed this one. I'm not a big fan of chinese food but my husband is. This was a nice comprimise for the both of us. Had it with some noodles and shreded the beef up a little bit to make my portion look bigger than it was. Will definetly make again.
